Moody Monsters is a research project which explores children and young people’s perspectives on their emotions. Through a co-creation workshop, young participants designed characters that responded to the question: “If your emotions were monsters, what do you think they would look like?” The final outcome is a digital sculpture garden where the audience can explore and discover the Moody Monsters through a virtual world. The project aims to support children and young people to develop emotional literacy through narrative design and play, as well as to help adults see the world through the mind of a child.
