Our project aims to explore inherent gender biases in the kitchen. "How do you balance family and
work?" is a question often posed to women, and in most households, unpaid labor such as housework
and caregiving for the elderly and children is also typically undertaken by women. This project reflects
deeply entrenched gender stereotypes and inequalities that persist in society, especially concerning
the division of household labor. The small apartment kitchen is not just an individual, simple
household labor space, but a microcosm of modern society: it is a spatial field that reflects various
social forces and serves as the life theater where every living woman performs daily.
